The Year-ender

The year-ender. There is no appropriate word to utter but, thank you and goodbye. My page had been silent for a year. And  it's good that I still have that keen mind to remember my log-in details.

I have lots to express with gratitude to those individuals who touched me in one way or another.  I have lots to apologize and say sorry for those I hurt. It's time to move on for greater heights and a better cause.

Let me enumerate some of the highlights I had for this year.

Two of my online friends visited Cebu, a real estate guru who lives in Manila  and a Japanese fish monger based in Saitama. Both had a great time enjoying the sights and food which every tourist never fails to experience while in Cebu.

Aside from the personal encounter with these wonderful individuals, I was strucked on the account of my Japanese acquaintance who traveled with his  family for the first time. The couple had previous travel to other countries in the past but never had the chance to do it with their two siblings. I was teary-eyed, listening to their stories. Remarkably,  their elusive dream of traveling as a family.  Without a doubt, I am fortunate to witness one of their most memorable life event.

In the middle of this year, an online friend died. I felt the loss of a fellow blogger who had multitudes of stories and life lessons to share. He was an online counselor and like a second father to me. Few years ago, I meet him and his lovely wife at their ancestral house. They were very hospitable. His demise leaves a mark to everyone with the floods of condolences on his facebook wall.

After cracking my brain on a crash course on wordpress, I have finally created the regional website for our office which I am also the administrator and writer.

To top it all, I joined a community this year. A community whose cause is coherent to my principle of helping people. My invitee should I say, had a hard time convincing me join. I initially never believed to its processes but eventually they proved me wrong.
